These terms apply to your use of Calendar Sync at calendar.samiabid.com (the "Service"), operated by Sami Abid. By signing in, you agree to them.
The Service
Calendar Sync copies events between Google Calendars that you choose and keeps those copies up to date. It is a private tool: access is limited to Google accounts the operator has approved, and access can be granted or withdrawn at any time.
Your account and calendars
- You may only connect Google accounts and calendars that you own or are authorised to manage.
- If you connect a work or organisation account, you are responsible for making sure your organisation allows it.
- You are responsible for your sync settings. Syncs create, update and delete events on the calendars you choose, and deleting a sync with its copies removes those copies from your calendar.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by trying to access other users' data, interfering with how it runs, getting around its access controls, or using it to break the law or Google's terms.
Your data
You keep all rights to your calendar data. The Service uses it only to provide the sync you configure, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect your accounts or revoke access through your Google Account at any time.
Availability
The Service is provided free of charge and on a best-effort basis. It relies on Google's APIs and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time. Syncs can occasionally be delayed or miss changes, so do not rely on it as the only copy of important calendar information.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost, duplicated or changed calendar events, arising from your use of the Service.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your syncs and revoking access from your Google Account. The operator may suspend or end access to the Service at any time, for example to protect the Service or other users.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
